About

Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, better known by his stage name Logic, was born on January 22, 1990 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. His father was a drug addict who left him and his mother when he was a young child. Logic went to Gaithersburg High School but dropped out during his freshman year as he felt he wasn't learning anything.

Logic released his first mixtape at the age of 13 and later released several more mixtapes throughout high school. In 2010, he signed with Visionary Music Group and released an album titled "Young Sinatra" which gained him recognition within the rap scene. He then began working with No I.D., who produced songs on Logic's next two albums "The Incredible True Story" (2015) and "Everybody" (2017).

The album "Everybody" debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and earned him a Grammy Nomination for Best Album in 2018. That same year, Logic released another album titled "YSIV". He has also collaborated with artists such as Marshmello and Wiz Khalifa.

Logic has been very vocal about mental health issues and racial injustice throughout his career. He founded the non-profit organization “Rattpack for Mental Health” to provide support for people dealing with mental health struggles and depression. He also created the Bobby Tarantino clothing line which helps raise money for suicide prevention charities. In 2020, Logic became an ambassador for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to help bring awareness to mental health issues in America.
