Radric Delantic Davis, better known as “Gucci Mane”, was born in Bessemer, Alabama on February 12, 1980. His zodiac sign is Aquarius, and his ethnicity is African-American. He grew up in a family of four children with his mother, Vicky Jean Davis and his father Ralph Everett Dudley. Gucci Mane started rapping at the age of 14 and wrote his first rap song in eighth grade. After high school, he moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in music and was signed to Big Cat Records in 2001.

In 2005, Gucci Mane released his debut album Trap House which peaked at number one on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. This album featured hit singles such as “Icy” and “Go Head” which were both successful songs among the hip-hop community. In 2009 Gucci Mane released The State vs Radric Davis which was his most successful album to date. It debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and was eventually certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). 

Throughout his career, Gucci Mane has collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip-hop including Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and many more. He has also appeared on numerous TV shows such as “The Wendy Williams Show” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. In 2017 he released three studio albums Mr. Davis, El Gato: The Human Glacier and Evil Genius which all received positive reviews from critics. 

In 2018 Gucci Mane released his autobiography titled The Autobiography of Gucci Mane where he tells his personal story about overcoming struggles with drugs, jail time and other hardships throughout his life. He is currently working on new music for 2019 while continuing to make appearances on television shows such as “Good Morning America” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
