Anthony Paul Ramos Martinez is an American actor and singer. In 2015, he originated the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the Broadway musical Hamilton. Ramos also appeared in the 2021 film version of In the Heights as Usnavi and in the 2018 film A Star Is Born as Ramon.

Anthony Ramos Martinez was born on November 1st, 1991 in Bushwick, Brooklyn. He is an American stage actor, singer and rapper of Puerto Rican descent. Growing up in New York City, he attended the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

Ramos made his Broadway debut in 2015 as John Laurens andPhilip Hamilton in Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical hit "Hamilton". His other credits include Netflix's "She's Gotta Have It," NBC's "Rise", the movie adaptation of "A Star Is Born" and Spike Lee's "Monsters & Men". In 2020, he starred in the romantic comedy film “Siempre, Luis” which follows the real-life story of Luis A. Miranda Jr., father to Lin-Manuel Miranda. 

Ramos also had a recurring role in Amazon Prime Video's hit series "The Boys" as Eagle the Archer, a former member of The Seven who was kicked out for being too violent. He released his first EP entitled "The Freedom EP" in 2018 featuring songs such as "Mind Over Matter" and "Fool For You". His single “Dear Diary” was released on April 3rd 2020.
