Chloë Grace Moretz was born on February 10, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius, and her ethnicity is Caucasian. She is the daughter of McCoy Lee Moretz and Teri Moretz. She has four older brothers: Brandon, Trevor, Colin, and Ethan. At the age of six she began acting professionally after being signed to an agent.

Moretz made her film debut in 2004’s The Amityville Horror as the character Chelsea Lutz. She also starred in the 2005 remake of The Pink Panther as well as a number of other films. In 2010 she starred in Kick-Ass alongside Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. She then went on to star in Hugo (2011), Dark Shadows (2012), Carrie (2013), If I Stay (2014) and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016). In 2018 she starred in The Miseducation of Cameron Post which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival that year. 

Moretz has won several awards throughout her career including Best Young Actress at the 2009 Scream Awards for her role in 500 Days Of Summer and Best Performance by a Younger Actor/Actress for her role in Hugo at the 2012 Saturn Awards. Most recently she won Best Actress at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival for her work on The Miseducation of Cameron Post.
