Emilio Estevez started his career as an actor and is known for being a member of the acting Brat Pack of the 1980s, appearing in The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, and The Outsiders.

Emilio Estevez was born on May 12, 1962, in New York City. His zodiac sign is Taurus and his ethnicity is Cuban-American. He is the eldest son of actor Martin Sheen and artist Janet Templeton and has four siblings: Ramon Estevez, Charlie Sheen, Renee Estevez, and Pat Estevez. Emilio began his career as an actor at age nine when he was cast in the theater production of “The Wizard of Oz”. In 1981, Emilio graduated from Santa Monica High School and soon after decided to pursue a career in acting full-time. 

Estevez made his film debut in the 1983 movie “Tex” opposite Matt Dillon. He then appeared in several films such as “The Outsiders” (1983), “St. Elmo's Fire” (1985), “Young Guns” (1988) and later had a supporting role in the 1990 drama “Men at Work” alongside Charlie Sheen and Keith David. In 1992 Estevez wrote, directed and starred in the film “The Mighty Ducks” which became a box office success spawning two sequels. He followed this up with roles in films like “D2: The Mighty Ducks” (1994), “Mission: Impossible” (1996), “Rated X” (2000) and “Bobby” (2006).

In addition to his work as an actor, Estevez has also dabbled into directing some projects such as the 2006 independent drama film "Bobby", which earned him much praise from critics. Throughout his career he has been nominated for several awards including a National Board of Review Award for Best Actor for Bobby and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast for Bobby. Besides that he also received a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004 located at 6933 Hollywood Blvd.
