Stevie Nicks was born Stephanie Lynn Nicks on May 26, 1948, in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an American singer-songwriter who is best known as one of the lead vocalists and songwriters of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Her zodiac sign is Gemini, and her ethnicity is Caucasian.

Nicks began singing at an early age; she wrote her first song when she was just 16 years old and performed with a band called Fritz in high school. In 1968, she met Lindsey Buckingham; they began a romantic relationship and joined forces to form their own band, Buckingham Nicks. After recording an album that didn't get much attention, they joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975. The album "Rumours," which included Nicks's songs "Dreams" and "Rhiannon," sold over 40 million copies worldwide and made them a global sensation.

Nicks then embarked on a solo career with the release of her debut album Bella Donna in 1981. The album spawned several hit singles including "Edge of Seventeen" and "Leather and Lace." She continued to record music throughout the 1980s and 1990s; some of her most successful albums include The Wild Heart (1983), Rock A Little (1985) and Street Angel (1994). In 1998, she rejoined Fleetwood Mac for the album The Dance which marked their reunion after a 15-year hiatus.

In addition to her musical career, Nicks has also appeared as an actress in various TV shows such as “American Horror Story” and “Portlandia”. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame twice - once as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998 and again as a solo artist in 2019.
