Bridgit Claire Mendler is an American singer and actress. In 2004, she began her career in the animated Indian film The Legend of Buddha, later starring in the films Alice Upside Down, The Clique, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Labor Pains as a teenager.

Mendler began her career as a child actress at the age of 10, when she appeared in the theatrical productions of “The Nutcracker” and “A Christmas Carol”. She made her television debut in 2004 when she appeared in the series “Strong Medicine”. She also had recurring roles in shows such as “ER” and “Good Luck Charlie”. In 2012, she starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Lemonade Mouth" alongside Hayley Kiyoko, Adam Hicks, Blake Michael and Naomi Scott. In 2013, she starred in the Disney Channel Television Series "Good Luck Charlie", which ran for four seasons from 2010-2014.
In 2013, Mendler released her debut album "Hello My Name Is...", which peaked at number 30 on the US Billboard 200 chart and spawned three singles: "Ready or Not", "Hurricane", and "Forget You". In 2016, she released her second studio album titled "Nemesis". In 2018, Mendler released two new singles titled "Temperamental Love" and "Do You Miss Me At All".
Aside from music and acting, Mendler is also active in philanthropy work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI). She also founded The Bridgit Mendler Music Foundation to help fund music education programs across the country.
