Jaylen Brown was born on October 24, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. His zodiac sign is Scorpio, and his ethnicity is African-American. He is the son of Dorothea and Michael Brown, and he has two younger brothers. He attended Wheeler High School, where he was an All-American basketball player. He then attended the University of California, Berkeley for one season before entering the 2016 NBA Draft.

     In the draft, he was selected with the third overall pick by the Boston Celtics. During his rookie year in the 2016-17 season, he made an immediate impact on the team that helped them reach the Eastern Conference Finals. The following season, Brown had a breakout year as he averaged 14 points per game and was named to his first All-Star team in 2018. 

In 2019, Brown signed a four-year contract extension with the Celtics that included a player option after three years. He has since become one of their most reliable players both offensively and defensively while playing multiple positions for the team. Brown has been instrumental in helping them reach deep into the playoffs each year since 2017; most recently making it to their fourth Eastern Conference Finals appearance in five years during the 2020-21 season.
